Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She held the post from 2021 until 2022. A part of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) and as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001, when she was working for the reelection campaigns of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications as press secretary for Obama's reelection campaign for 2012. 20 Psaki resigned as spokesperson for United States Department of State, on February 11 2013. [20] Her hiring in the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney as he left for the White House. However on May 30th, 2014 it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She was appointed communications director at the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end of 2015.
